In our history group we meet and focus on events in the past. As members of U3A we tend to be the generation of baby boomers and interpret the human story from this
standpoint. The events of the past are fixed. We can have a conversation and seek to understand those events. We are then part of the ever- changing story.
The topics we discuss are diverse and range from the Saxon kings to the 1960’s. A visual presentation is usually punctuated by and followed by question and comment. Hopefully we will come away with increased knowledge and be curious to learn more.
